Your ideas of a good life – what counts, who counts and who pays what?

The German Ethics Council is interested in the views and ideas of young people. We want to know what matters to school students, what their hopes and fears are and what issues concern them.

Please note: The competition is now closed. Thank you very much for all the amazing entries! The classes and courses to be selected will be announced around mid-March.

We look forward to talking to as many students as possible at our autumn conference “Meet the Ethics Council! Your ideas of a good life” on 11 November 2026 in Leipzig. We are specifically addressing classes and courses currently in years 8 and 9.

Would you like to take part? Then join our interactive campaign “Your ideas of a good life – what counts, who counts and who pays what?” and be one of up to ten selected courses to participate in the conference on site! All types of schools are invited.
