Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Gräb-Schmidt appointed to the German Ethics Council

Professor Dr. theol. Elisabeth Gräb-Schmidt is a new member of the German Ethics Council.

In accordance with the proposal of the Federal Government, she was appointed to the German Ethics Council by the President of the German Bundestag, Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble, with effect from 13 November 2018. She succeeds Professor Dr. Martin Hein, Bishop of the Protestant Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck, who left the German Ethics Council on 12 November 2018 after expiration of his term.

Elisabeth Gräb-Schmidt holds the Chair of Systematic Theology II at the Institute of Ethics at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. She will attend a plenary session of the Ethics Council for the first time in December.
