Kerstin Schlögl-Flierl

Christian Thiel/Deutscher Ethikrat
“I am starting my second term of office with a great deal of curiosity and enthusiasm for new as well as challenging ethical issues. In times shaped by experiences of loss and crisis, I, as one of the members, would like to place the focus on the Ethics Council's role in providing orientation for social debates on ethical issues. Of particular concern to me are efforts to increase opportunities for participation for all citizens. Here, we can build on the very positive experiences we have had, for example, with webinars for members of parliament and the interested public or a conference with school students.”
