Christian Thiel/Deutscher Ethikrat
“As an interdisciplinary body, the German Ethics Council deals with questions that are of great importance to society and the conduct of life of individuals. Constant developments in research and science, as well as social dynamics and political challenges, raise ethical questions that are addressed by the Ethics Council. As a theological ethicist, I am motivated to engage in the interdisciplinary reflection on these issues, thereby supporting society and politics in their opinion-forming processes and assuming responsibility in our democracy.”
