Annette Riedel

Christian Thiel/Deutscher Ethikrat
“As a nursing scientist, I centre my work around socially significant issues relating to ethically acceptable and responsible care and support for people in need of care. In this context, I am particularly concerned with bringing the perspective of people in need of help and care, the importance of an individual quality of life and personal integrity in existential life situations, central principles of nursing ethics such as respect for autonomy, preservation of dignity, social participation and justice, but also the importance of mindful care relationships into the interdisciplinary debate of the German Ethics Council.”
